My name is Samuel Frimpong Manso I attended the University of Education Winneba, Ghana where I obtained my first degree in elementary education. Again, I hold a Diploma in Basic Education since September 2011 as a professional teacher up to date, in my teaching I make sure that I plan and prepare my lessons ahead of time in order to meet deadline.

In my first-year teaching, I was posted to grade 2 and I was asked to run sports in the school as an extracurricular activity and in my 2 year tenure of office our school won 2 trophies during the interschool’s sports festival under my care. In our district it is a tradition that head teachers make classification for every teacher to change their previous grade to a different grade and I taught grade 5 and 6 in my first station.

Moreover, our district system was such that a teacher can seek for a transfer to move to another district after spending 3 years in your current school. In my teaching I make sure that I tailor my instructions based on student preferences and to also cater for the diverse learning needs of my students.

Furthermore, I sought for another transfer to a different school to continue my teaching service. In my new school I taught grade 4 and the following year, I handled grade 5, and I was a curriculum lead where we meet periodically to discuss challenging topics and also share ideas to update our knowledge and learn the current trends in education. I sought for another transfer and this time after it was approved, I handled Volleyball team in the school and the performance of my volleyball team was so great and we won several medals.

Lastly, I was a resource person and HIV/AID’s coordinator where I am mostly invited to have a talk with the students. I am a team player who mingles myself with parents and students so they can reach out to me to discuss problems concerning their students performance to helps move the school to achieve it purpose.
