About Us

We envision an international education system where students from all backgrounds have access to teachers reflecting the rich diversity of our shared world. We envision a future where Black educators feel empowered and supported in their careers abroad, and all students benefit from learning perspectives representative of our varied human experiences.

The vision paints a picture of the desired future impact – a more diverse global education system that benefits both students and teachers from marginalised groups. It emphasises how sharing varied life experiences and perspectives through teachers of all backgrounds can enrich learning for all.

Both our mission and vision frame increasing equitable opportunities and outcomes for Black educators internationally as the central driving purpose of the agency.
