About me

Patrick Ndoworera is a dynamic educator with more than fourteen years’ experience teaching Biology, General Science and Agricultural Sciences in English language in South Africa and teaching grades 8-12. The main curriculum I have been teaching in South Africa is the Curriculum Assessment and Policy Statement (CAPS) with exposure to the IMPAQ as well as the CAMBRIDGE curriculum. I have two years of experience as a marker for grade 12 final exams for Biology. I am a hard worker who is dependable, time conscious and a good motivator of students who can work with little or no supervision to meet set targets.
I am currently teaching Agricultural Sciences at Leap Science and Maths School in Jane Furse, Limpopo Province of South Africa since August 2020. I also have teaching experience for General science and Biology for students aged 11-18 years. I am also familiar with the use of technology in the classroom including overhead projector, PowerPoint; excel as well as online teaching using zoom, Microsoft teams and Google meet. I am a committed individual who thrives through challenging tasks.
I am looking for a General Science/ Biology teaching role in the Asia/Middle East where I want to experience a new environment, learn new cultures, learn new skills, explore the world, take care of my family and prepare a lucrative retirement for myself. I would also like to experience the good quality of life in Asia and expose my children to the good quality of Education in Asia. I am open to any location but would prefer smaller cities and rural areas should there be any openings. I have experience dealing with multi-racial and multi-cultural learners and colleagues throughout my teaching career in South Africa.
