As an English language teacher, I have developed a range of teaching methods to foster active learning and engage students effectively. I utilize Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) to enable leaners focus on real-world communication and build student confidence in speaking. Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) which allows students to practice language skills through meaningful activities, such as debates or project work, while Total Physical Response (TPR) which supports kinesthetic learners by pairing physical actions with vocabulary learning. Additionally, I implement Flipped Classroom techniques which encourage students to review content independently, allowing classroom time for interactive tasks and discussions. I also use Project-Based Learning (PBL) to encourage collaboration and research, and Differentiated Instruction ensures that all learners, regardless of proficiency level, can engage with the material. By blending these methods, I create a dynamic classroom that adapts to students’ diverse needs.
